The student and parent assume all responsibility for registering for the appropriate courses. A local school counselor must approve the student's summer school schedule. The High School Summer School program encourages the student and parent to review options and contact the counselor with any questions to ensure that the student takes the appropriate class(es).
High School Summer School registration takes place on-line from Monday, May 9, 2011, to Tuesday, June 7, 2011. High school summer school strongly recommends that all students register as early as possible for the classes they wish to take. Classes fill up quickly and space is limited.
Gwinnett students paying by cash or money order and ALL out-of-county residents must register on June 4, 2011, at Central Gwinnett High between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. NOTE : No personal checks will be accepted for summer school fees. Free/reduced tuition is not available. All tuition fees are due at registration.
What to Bring
To speed up the registration process for students registering for classes at Walk-In-Registration, students should do the following:
- Bring the student’s current report card and/or transcript.
- Go to MealpayPlus.com and create an account. GCPS has partnered with MealpayPlus for the registration process. Only current GCPS students may create an account with MealpayPlus.com.
Full payment of tuition is required at the time of registration as follows:

||$225 for each class
||$250 for each class
Late Registration Gwinnett County Resident

|Late Registration for Out-of-County Resident

Gwinnett residents paying by cash or money order and ALL out-of-county residents must register on June 4 at Central Gwinnett High School between 9 a.m. and Noon. Note: No personal checks will be accepted for Summer School fees.
Once a student attends one day of Summer School, no refunds will be approved. No refunds are approved for students withdrawn from Summer School for attendance or discipline issues.
Parents may request a refund by submitting a Refund Request Form to the local site summer school office or by e-mailing the completed Refund Request Form to: GCPS_HS_SUMMER_SCHOOL@gwinnett.k12.ga.us
